Why The Artist Within?

A group of young men from University of Miami came to see my art at one of my exhibits. During our conversation, I learned that they were cinematography students, planning to do a documentary about an artist. I became, in this way, the subject of their film project. Upon its completion, they decided to title it "Pablo The Artist Within." These students's film project was awarded first place choice among the many other students' submissions for that year, 2008. Later on, University of Miami's School of Cinematography placed it as their official entry to represent their institution in one of Hollywood's Film Festivals.

I will be eternally grateful to Ximena, Noah Debonis, Mollie Dodge, and Ruben Saldana for having enriched my life and image with their deference in having chosen me for the film and also inspiring me to use their title.
It is with great humility and joy I apply their label to my blog.
